Glossary Order Picking

Order Picking is the process of retrieving ordered goods from the storage location. There are two methods: Single Order Picking, where the ordered products are picked for each order, and Batch Order Picking, where multiple orders are aggregated by item and picked by item quantity in batches. Conveyor belts, forklifts, and stack cranes are used in Order Picking.
