Introduce yourself Hello, I’m Alexander Zang, I joined Samsung SDS in March 2018, as Business Development Manager. Since 2023, I’ve been leading the complete External Business of Samsung SDS Germany. Next to our dedicated and experienced Operations colleagues, our solution driven Business Innovation Power is what makes this Organization very special. For Samsung SDS, there is no Operation without constant search for Innovation and Improvement.

What powers you in life? In my life, there are two main things that power me every day. First, my family. They are what motivates me when times are challenging, they are what puts meaning to my whole life and sense in everything I do. It was also my family who inspired me to work in Logistics and Supply Chain Management.

Next to this, what powers and enables me to give my all every day, is the urge to make a difference and add value to people's lives, businesses and, as I chose my profession to be a Supply Chain Expert, also our customers' Value Chains.

Since 2023, I am part of a project partnership between H2 Delivery and Samsung SDS for eco-friendly logistics. The objective is to transport cargo using Samsung SDS' TMS IT solution and H2 Fuel Cell & EV trucks, aiming to reduce carbon footprint while maintaining the level of logistics costs. This project it not only important for technological innovation but also significantly contributed to reducing customer's carbon emissions during transportation, making it very meaningful for me personally. These kinds of projects inspire me every day.

This kind of constant search for innovation and automation combined with the disposition to invest into improvement and new process approaches for our customers, are the perfect habitat for my personal key-motivators.
